Realtor Advice: When you are purchasing a new construction property, take advantage of the walk-throughs. These are the only times in life that you are encouraged to be extremely picky and meticulous about imperfections with your new property. Use the blue tape to highlight builder imperfections!!! ***You can ONLY do this w/ new construction and not resales.*** Home buyers make the incorrect assumption that there will no problems with a new construction units because it is a new development.  That is 100% false. It is always best to be safe than sorry. I also encourage home buyers to get a home inspection of all new construction properties.
